Find a Dance/Movement Therapist

Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT) acknowledges the attainment of a basic level of competence in dance/movement therapy, achieved through the completion of dance/movement therapy education and training.  The R-DMT signifies both the first level of entry into the profession and the individual's preparedness for employment as a dance/movement therapist within a clinical and/or educational setting.

Board Certified Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT) acknowledges the attainment of the advanced, Board Certified level of dance/movement therapy practice.  It signifies both advanced professional attainment and the individual's preparedness to provide supervision and training in dance/movement therapy, and engage in private practice.

How to use this directory:

Select a state and click "Search" to find therapists by state. To see a complete list of all dance/movement therapists, replace the "Is" field with "Any". For countries other than the US, enter the name of the country in the "Country Contains" field. (Be sure the "Match" drop-down is set to "any," not "all.") To search by name or city, just click on the "keyword search" at the top of the page, enter the name you want in the text field, and click search. Finally, you can also select any other criteria you want to search for by clicking "Add Criteria" and selecting another search category.
