National Arts Action Summit

Got a need and/or passion for promoting yourself, your work and/or the field of DMT?

This year the ADTA’s Government Affairs Committee is excited to promote

National Arts Action Summit in Washington D.C. March 30 and 31, 2020

Join hundreds of art advocates, colleagues and supporters from all over the United States for this dynamic two-day event of training and advocacy.   The summit begins with a full day of networking, learning, preparing and practicing legislative advocacy.  The following day, attendees visit “the Hill” for prescheduled, on-site meetings with congressional representatives. These meetings invite you to share and educate your representatives and fellow arts advocates about Dance/Movement Therapy. This summit offers you resources for and knowledge of the latest facts and figures regarding how the arts, and more specifically arts in healthcare, are impacting our lives in so many outstanding ways throughout the United States.  Moreover, this summit empowers you to find and refine your own advocacy voice!
