COVID-19 Membership Assistance Fund
UPDATE AS OF 4/23/20
At the time that applications for the Membership Assistance Fund opened on Wednesday, April 22nd, the fund contained $6,526 ($5,000 from the ADTA and $1,526 in donations). At the end of the first 24 hours, we received 76 requests for funding in a total amount of $9,725.
At this time, further applications for funding are suspended pending processing of the initial applications and rebuilding the fund with donations. The ADTA will continue to solicit donations for the fund and eligible requests will be paid out in the order in which they were received as donations are received to cover the request. Thank you for your understanding.

The ADTA Board of Directors is very pleased to announce the creation of a COVID-19 Membership Assistance Fund. The Board approved seeding the Fund with $5,000 in support of members in need during this pandemic. Funds will be dispersed to those who qualify on a first-come, first-served basis until the Fund is depleted. Our hope is to grow this Fund through contributions from anyone in our larger community who is able to donate; the more money in the Fund, the more dance/movement therapists in financial distress due to the pandemic that we can help.
Eligibility: Any current professional, student or retired professional member who has been a member since at least April 1, 2020, is eligible to apply for one-time assistance of between $50-150. We are hopeful that this nominal amount will help our members with emergency assistance for things like groceries, utilities, gas, medicines, etc. and be a small, but tangible way for our community to support each other. Applicants will only need to provide basic contact information and their requested amount, no purpose or documented need will be required. All applications will remain confidential.
